The Presidential Candidates Ranked By Their Usefulness In A Bar ...

bitterempire.com/presidential-candidates-ranked-usefulness-bar-fight/

Jan 28, 2016 - When the going gets rough, which of these presidential

candidates do you ... Fellow Republican Bob Dole has been out of politics

for like 20 ... That is because Ted Cruz is on nobody's side in any fight

but that of Ted ... Do not have Donald Trump on your side in a bar fight. .....

I think you mean “pertinent”.

Missing: often ‎front ‎horse ‎contending.

Looks like Google is scolding me "I think you mean “pertinent”." Pretty

simple, did my quote match any documents or not? And to add to that we

know that Google is a liberal leaning company and maybe that they are mad

at me because of that.

"First presidential debate: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton prepare

with very different methods.

Clinton has been hunkered down for days trying to prepare for two

different Trumps to appear, while her opponent seems to be leaving

everything until the last possible moment

Feliks Garcia New York @feliksjose Friday 23 September 2016

As the highly-anticipated debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald

Trump approaches, the two rivals are preparing in starkly contrasting

ways.

The Clinton camp has taken a more traditional approach to going after

Mr Trump in an attempt to prove his unfitness to serve as president.

The New York businessman has done relatively little preparation in

the sense of debate practice, and has instead looked for any possible

vulnerabilities of Ms Clinton’s based on previous debate performances.

Everything you need to know about the first US presidential debate

Ms Clinton has taken some time off this week to prepare for the debate,

making only two campaign stops in battleground states Pennsylvania

and Florida.

Ms Clinton faces the particular challenge of preparing for Mr Trump’s

dueling personalities: the loudmouth who derailed the Republican

primaries with his interruptions and insults, and the one who is

considered more presidential by simply sticking to the teleprompter.

“Maybe he will try to be presidential and try to convey a gravity that

he hasn’t done before or maybe he will come in and try to insult and try

to score some points,” the former Secretary of State said at an August

fundraiser.

Trump under fire from rivals in US Republican debate

The Clinton campaign has been tight-lipped about their choice to portray

Mr Trump in debate practices, but it is their hope to keep the Democratic

nominee on the offensive as the former reality television star will likely

try to put her on defence.

It is the campaign’s hope that Ms Clinton can knock Mr Trump off balance

and get under his skin, challenging his worth and pouncing on him when

he tells a lie.

Barack Obama, who has been aggressively campaigning for Ms Clinton

over the past week, had simple advice for the upcoming debate. He

encouraged her to be herself in an interview on Good Morning America.

“She’s in this for the right reasons,” he said.

Donald Trump has considerably less experience than Ms Clinton on the

debate stage against a single opponent. He triumphed through the fall

and spring debates – which often descended into mad shouting matches –

but Ms Clinton faced off against Barack Obama in 2008, not to mention her

debates running for the New York Senate seat.

Mr Trump has done very little in the way of actual debate practice this

week as he continues his rigorous schedule along the campaign trail,

with plans to take a full day Sunday to cram for the first appearance

with Ms Clinton....

Anticipating accusations of lying from his opponent, Mr Trump’s

handlers are coaching him to respond measuredly, but he will not

simulate a full mock debate. Mr Trump had previously spoken out

against fact-checking by moderators in this first debate.

In a Monday interview, Mr Trump told Bill O’Reilly that he was not sure

he would shoot insults as Ms Clinton during the debate.

Hillary Clinton ad focuses on Donald Trump's long history of sexism:

'Is this the president we want for our daughters?'

First presidential debate: Donald Trump would rather not be fact-checked

by a moderator when he faces Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to face off alone after third-party

candidates fail to qualify for debate

“I don’t think I’m looking to do that,” he said. “I don’t know what I’m going

to do exactly. It depends on what level she hits you with, if she’s fair, if it’s

unfair, but certainly I’m not looking to do that.”

However, Mr Trump has the benefit of low expectations going into the

debate. Ms Clinton, on the other hand, faces an impossibly high bar.

“My biggest concern is not a view of any moderator,” Ms Clinton’s senior

adviser, Jennifer Palmieri, said. “But just that people accommodate their

questions, and lower the bar of their questions to suit the candidate in front

of them and that’s what happened with Trump in the past."

CONTINUED FROM YESTERDAY....

At both the Wayne and Ashland County Fairs, I stood opposite the Democratic

and Republican booths just to what kind of people would support either

candidate.

In the Democratic booth, I saw young people about college age, older people

who might be college professors and others who might be union members,

but could not tell unless they offered their union ID cards. They all sought

a president who would continue to mirror the administration of President

Barack Obama.

In the Republican booth, I saw a variety of people who were not identifiable,

but wanted the country to go in a different direction than the present

administration.

I saw a lady at the Wayne County Fair who had a banner on her person plus

a crown upon her head that looked like a beauty contest winner. The banner

said 50th and I asked her "what is that." She said that "it is my 50th birthday"

and pointed to her husband meaning that he was the one responsible.

I told her "that he must be keeper," and I went to say that "I do not believe

you, you look a lot younger than 50." She said "do you want to check my ID"

and I said "no, I'm not selling beer and they left and I said "have a wonderful

life." I sincerely love a conversation like this because everyone involved

leaves with a better feeling of their selves and their self-esteem intact.

WORLD

Bill watching TV and I'm listening. (4:54 AM 9/25/2016).

He's watching "How its Made" and they are showing the making of a

Grandfather clock. The Germans invent and make a lot of things and they

are hard working and industrious people.

They then show the growing and preparing of hearts of palm that I like. The

hearts of palm look like the large and white side walk chalk, but are soft and

I enjoy them immensely.

Heart of palm

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fresh heart of palm.

"Heart of palm, also called palm heart, chonta, palmito, palm cabbage,

swamp cabbage, or burglar's thigh, is a vegetable harvested from the

inner core and growing bud of certain palm trees (notably the coconut

(Cocos nucifera), Palmito Juçara (Euterpe edulis), Açaí palm (Euterpe

oleracea), sabal (Sabal spp.), pupunha and pejibaye (Bactris gasipaes)

palms). Harvesting of many non-cultivated or wild single-stemmed

palms results in palm tree death (e.g. Geonoma edulis).... However,

other palm species are clonal or multi-stemmed plants (e.g. Prestoea

acuminata, Euterpe oleracea) and moderate harvesting will not kill

the entire clonal palm. Heart of palm may be eaten on its own, and often

it is eaten in a salad.

An alternative to wild heart of palm are palm varieties which have

undergone a process of adaptation to become a domesticated farm

species. The main variety that has been domesticated is the botanical

species Bactris gasipaes, known in Ecuador as chontaduro, in Brazil

and Costa Rica as palmito, and in English as the peach palm.... This

variety is the most widely used for canning. Peach palms are

self-suckering and produce multiple stems,... up to 40 on one plant,

so harvesting several stems from a plant is not so expensive because

the plant can live on. Another advantage it has over other palms is that

it has been selectively bred to eliminate the vicious thorns of its wild

cousins. Since harvesting is still a labor-intensive task, palm hearts

are regarded as a delicacy.

As of 2008, Costa Rica is the primary source of fresh palm hearts in the

US. Peach palm is also cultivated in Hawaii,[3] and now has limited

distribution on the mainland, primarily to the restaurant trade. Florida's

wild Sabal palmetto or cabbage palm was once a source of hearts of

palm but is now protected by conservation law...."

The following sections will be delayed until I have finished typing the

story of the Wayne County and Ashland County Fairs.

THE ROAD TO MY GRANDPARENTS CLINE....

MOTHER AND OR FATHER

IN THE FLOWER GARDEN WITH FORREST CARICOFE

I watered the flowers real early yesterday morning. The rest of the day

I spent digging up clumps of wire weeds, grass seeding the hole, filling

with good dirt and then watering. I do not believe that the tall grass can

kill those wire weeds. I hope to finish that today.

I then want to do more grass seeding in the yard at the places that seem

stubborn in their refusal to grow grass. One is up in front of the house

that is partially shaded in the evening and the other is under the large

tree in the back located on the east boundary with the neighbor. I'll grass

seed those two areas, cover with top soil and then water.
