MY GRANDPARENTS CLINE....
I remember the smokehouse that was just a few steps and west of the house and
the chicken house that was beside it and a few steps to the north from that.
The big old barn was about 200 yards from the house more north and only slightly
west where my grandfather with help from his oldest son and my Uncle Orvin,
filled the barn with hay. My memory is a little vague again, but I believe that
there was a trench on the north side of the barn where ensilage was stored. But that
might been recent and not then.
An exchange that I heard that was said between my grandmother and my grandfather
when he had decided to retire was something that I can tell you tomorrow....

US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Excerpt from full article:
Politics
"At third debate, Trump won’t commit to accepting election results if he loses
'I'll keep you in suspense': Trump on whether he'll accept election results
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said, "I'll keep you in
suspense," when answering a question about the tradition of accepting the
results of presidential elections.
(The Washington Post By Karen Tumulty and Philip Rucker October 19
LAS VEGAS — A defiant Donald Trump used the high-profile setting of the
final presidential debate here Wednesday night to amplify one of the most
explosive charges of his candidacy: that if he loses the election, he might
consider the results illegitimate because the process is rigged."
(and later in the debate)....
"Questioned directly as to whether he would accept the outcome should
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton prevail on Nov. 8, Trump demurred.
“I will keep you in suspense,” the Republican nominee said. Clinton called
Trump’s answer “horrifying,” saying he was “talking down our democracy.”
Trump’s retort: “Nobody has more respect for women than I do.”
In the debate hall, the audience laughed, prompting moderator Chris Wallace,
of Fox News Channel, to admonish them. “Please, everybody,” he said."
Washington Post
During the debates, Clinton's weakness has been defending her positions
Washington Post
"LAS VEGAS - Hillary Clinton received a pointed question during the final
debate that echoed a criticism she has faced for months: Was her family's
global charity a “pay-to-play” arrangement in which donors got special
favors from her State Department?"
MY OPINION
I suspect Donald Trump has already hired a large team of lawyers to fight the
legitimacy of this presidential election and to further devide this nation that is
already divided enough. The Republican Party, which stands alone and apart
from Donald Trump who is defiant in his ways, may cease to ever exist again as
a majority party.
I hope I'm wrong.
BBC News
"The BBC poll of polls looks at the five most recent national polls and takes the
median value, ie, the value between the two figures that are higher and two
figures that are lower."
US election poll tracker: Who is ahead - Clinton or Trump?
Election day 8 November 2016
"updated 20 October 2016 Hillary Clinton 47% Donald Trump 43%
updated 19 October 2016 Hillary Clinton 51% Donald Trump 42%
updated 18 October 2016 Hillary Clinton 51% Donald Trump 41%
updated 17 October 2016 Hillary Clinton 49% Donald Trump 41%
30 September 2016 Hillary Clinton 48% Donald Trump 46%"
From above I do not see why there is a gain for Trump and a loss for Clinton,
especially after last night's debate. Trump says we have a rigged election so
maybe BBC News are getting their information from rigged polling places, too.

IN THE FLOWER GARDEN WITH FORREST
I could see and hear the time of harvest yesterday as I worked to hurry with
the landscaping of the yard. The soybean crop was the first go and now it's
corn their harvesting. It's still dark (4:41 AM 10/20/2016), of course, so I cannot
see, if the corn field to the west is gone forever. I've never asked, but I know
that a company who employee farm equipment drivers, contracts to the farmers
for harvesting their crops.
I sometimes just check the flower beds real quick to check for any differences
from the day before. I was surprised to see that some creature had dug up and
ate all the flower bulbs in a middle flower bed that's close to the house. There
where deer tracks all around the bed but there were also deer tracks in the
back and no bulbs had been dug and eaten from there. I still have some flower
bulbs left, so I'll wait a few days and see if anything else happens before I plant
again.
