I remember taking a day or a few hours off to watch a parade of President
Kennedy, his wife and Vice President Johnson and his wife in Houston.
The President went to Dallas the next day and you know what happened there.
The President, his wife and Texas Governor Connally and his wife where in that
parade and that's were President Kennedy was assassinated from shots from the
bank and not the Book Depository Building. The "American Sniper" could not
have made those shots.
I believe that Vice President Johnson and maybe "Lady Bird" wanted the
him to be the President and her to be the First Lady and they conspired with a
paid assassin to assassinated President Kennedy.
I, along with most Americans, mourned our loss. I went into a bar that night
thinking a few beers would settle me down some. A woman was setting beside
me when Ricky Nelson's hit song 'Baby Face' started to play on the jukebox.
The woman turned around to me and said "hey, baby face, and I went after

I know a man who will not go to the doctor. Why? I'm not quite sure but he is
either afraid or he thinks he knows more than the doctor. A hundred years ago
he might have known more than the doctor, but not today. And, unlike in the
old days, where there was only one doctor for a large area, today there are
many more doctors and you can get 2nd and 3rd opinions from different doctors
like I did for Mother and myself.

I'm watching, listening to the Army-Navy college football game on TV (3:42 PM
12/10/2016 EDT) in Baltimore. This game is played each year and has lost 14
straight. Army is leading 7-0 and has just fumbled. Navy's ball. President-elect
Donald Trump entered the stadium several minutes ago. All of the military brass
of the Obama administration are here: general of the joint chiefs of staff,
Department of the Navy and Department of the Army. They move the camera to
soldiers in Kuwait for us to see their reactions. I assume they are Army soldiers
because I don't see any ships or Navy aircraft around.
Fourth down, Navy. The punter punts for 15 yards (3:53 PM 12/10/2016 EDT).
Army on the 18th yard line of Navy. 4th and 2. Run. First down. Run. Touchdown.
Extra point good. Army 14-Navy 0. Hurrah!! You know I was in the Army, don't
you? (4:04 PM 12/10/2016 EDT). Navy's ball the quarterback throws a pass.
Intercepted. Army has the football. The first half expires (4:24 PM 12/10/2016
EDT). Half time score remains Army 14, Navy 0.
The President-elect is just now talking to the games commentators (4:48 PM

Army has the ball and fumbles. Navy's ball.
The President-elect leaves the booth after shaking hands with the

Navy passes and gets to the Army 10 yard line. Two running plays. Touchdown.
Boo. Extra point good. Boo. Army 14, Navy 7. (4:59 PM 12/10/2016 EDT).
Field goal attempt by Navy. Good. Boo. Army 14, Navy 10.

THE US PRESIDENT ELECT
In my 294th story I gave you my odds on potential picks by Trump to become his
Secretary of State. Things have changed so I'll do it again:
Huntsman 2-1 scratched (see below)
Corker 2-1 Will be easily confirmed and I like him because he's a
southerner from Tennessee.
Stavridis 5-1 No news either way so far on the retired Navy Admiral.
Tillerson 8-1 International business ties.
Petraeus 9-1 Scandal and classified documents leaked.
Rohrabacher 10-1 She has to be almost a liberal to get elected in California.
Romney 12-1 No one likes him except Trump.
Giuliani 15-1 scratched
Bolton 20-1 Too out spoken.
Gore no chance in hell - scratched
Update: Trump chooses Tillerson as Secretary of State (2:30 PM 12/10/2016 EDT -
my time, not the source's). With Huntsman scratched I do not get the win or place
money, but I do get the show money.
New faces added to the above are Exxon Mobil Corp. CEO Rex Tillerson,
California Republican Representative Dana Rohrabacher and retired Navy
Admiral James Stavridis.
Huntsman, my first pick is not talked about here and an internet search
indicated that he was still in the running, but those sources were 4 to 6 days
old and for now, until I hear different we'll considered him scratched.
The President-elect will make choices that are good for America, not based
on loyalty, friendship or sucking up.

Tuesday don't look good at all. 9°? I really prefer a 3-digit temperature over
a 1-digit temperature. But I guess you can't have everything you want.
Like I told you yesterday, I have moved the coffee pot, filters and the Folgers
into the house because it was frozen because of the below freezing temperature.
But I still need to go out (5:07 AM 12/10/2016 EDT) for the fresh air of the
morning. The temperature is 28°, humidity is 72% and the wind is blowing in
from the west at about 10 mph for an estimated wind chill of 25°. Using the dew
point calculator at http://www.dpcalc.org/, I get a reading of 37%. Have I been
wrong about the wind chill. I went onto the and found a wind chill calculator at
http://www.onlineconversion.com/. I entered the temperature (28°) and my
estimated wind speed (10 mph) and the calculator came up with a wind chill
of 18.77°. A little over 6° chillier than I thought.
wind speed.
Outside again for some fresh cold air (7:33 AM 12/10/2016 EDT) and then back
in the house for may breakfast and you know what that is? Sure you do. Yes
you're right. A sardine sandwich. I can't find the Orleans sardines I bought at
Rite Aid yesterday, but I'm sure there somewhere in the house. So, I had Ocean
Prince, in soybean oil, lightly smoked and a product of China. Only 3 sardines
so that means more mercury in this bigger sardine, but I'll enjoy it just the same.
The writing on the can goes on to say "from the sea to your table." The sardines
didn't have enough salt for my taste, so I got out my sea salt grinder and gave it
a heavy dose. I figure that the sardines and the salt coming from the same place
would make this the better than average sandwich.
Out side again (8:35 AM 12/10/2016 EDT) to take the out-going mail to the
mailbox on the other side of the road (Smucker Road) and north of the house.
I then went to the Honda again to look for those Orleans Sardines that I bought
yesterday at Rite Aid that I was so happy with. And there they were. It gets light
here about 7:30 AM and what I couldn't see in the dark earlier this morning,
I found in the light just now.
