MY STAY AT THE SENTARA ROCKINGHAM MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

CONTINUED FROM YESTERDAY....

"At the stoplight I paused only briefly and then turned the Honda to the left, the

rear wheels slightly sliding to the right."

I drove, alone on the street, but seeing brand new vehicles that had slid off the

the road to the left and the right. I went past the street on the left that leads to

Gold's gym and then a slight incline for about a 1/2 a mile or so. On the left I

passed a street that lead to a condominium where my niece, and my brother,

Roland's 3rd child, Erin, once lived. After topping the hill, I drove downward to

a stoplight that was red and seeing no vehicles to the left or the right, I just

drove on through it. The next street to the right I turned right until I came to

street leading to the parking lot of the hospital. I turned left into the parking

lot and literally jammed Mother's Honda into a non-cleared parking space. So,

my decision was to spend the night sleeping in this hospital named above.

I got some things out of the Honda I might need like an extra coat or extra

clothes. I don't know why to this day I didn't bring my two sleeping bags into

the hospital that I had in car? Maybe I believed that I was trespassing, but

I could go no where else because of the snow, so I had no other choice.

So, I walked on in to hospital and talked to the person at the information

counter and then went downstairs to the cafeteria to get something to eat....

WEATHER

Weather for Smithville, Ohio

Today      RAIN                                61° 34°

Tue          PARTLY_CLOUDY        34° 25°

Wed         SUNNY                            36° 32°

Thu          CLOUDY                        34° 25°

The Weather Channel - Weather Underground - AccuWeather

Wow, look at today's temperature forecast. I know it says it is going to rain too,

but I don't mind a warm rain. But it then returns to the same old thing, at least for

the next 3 days. I wonder if this change in temperature from low to high and back

to low again could be called temperature PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder)?

I just went outside (8:49 AM 12/26/2016 EDT) to take the trash containers to the

road and outgoing letters to the mailbox. I don't know if either the Post Office or

Waste Management are coming today because of Christmas, but I don't want to

take any chances.

The temperature is 46°, the humidity is 81% and the wind, according to the

American flag on the corner post, is blowing in from the south at about 5 mph

while the sun is showing its early morning brilliance in the east.

Using the online calculators at:

http://www.dpcalc.org and http://www.onlineconversion.com., I get a wind chill

of 43.52° and a dew point of 41%.

Also, I having two biscuits with real creamery butter and after that I going to fix

for myself an Orleans sardine sandwich.

The last time (3:20 PM 12/26/2016 EDT) I checked the weather outside, the

temperature was 60°, the humidity was 74%, the wind was blowing in from the

south at about 10 mph and the sun was lowering it self in the east to make way for

the moon to start its path across the sky from east to west tonight.
