STORIES OF MY LIFE AND TOLD IN ONE DAY....

Almost everyone has used the restrooms at Walmart. Half the time you go to

the restroom in the front or back and have to turn around go to the other because

the one you first went to first is closed for cleaning. Walmart restrooms are not

the best when I'm needing to go. Often the urinals or seat toilets need plumbing

repair and the thin toilet paper is not my favorite for wiping. Most of the men

I say Hi to in restrooms are friendly, but I never say Hi to a man or a boy

who is peeing and, of course, you cannot say Hi to a man or a boy on a seat

because of the door. I have excellent hearing for my age and I can tell by the

sounds in the booths as to whether a man or a boy has constipation or diarrhea.

The symbols for men's bathrooms are different of course and in Walmart you

need to check those symbols each time before you enter. The men's is not

always on the right or on the left. Even the restrooms in the Wooster Walmart

I go to are different. The men's restroom in the front of the store is on the right

while the one in the back of the store is on the left. So if you fail to check the

symbols and are already in the restroom make sure you men check and see

if the restroom has urinals.

Well, that's about all for today, I've got to go pee.

I hope I've got this right. On the postcrossing.com web site there is a symbol on

a map pointing to the home of the sender. In this case, the pointer points at or

near to the city of Wuppertal, Germany.

*The killer whale named Granny has not been since last October and is believed

tt be dead. Some whale experts put her age at over 100 while others say that she is

from 60 to 80 years old. In the late 1960's, because of her age, she was not sold to a

marine park allowing her to spend the rest of days leading a pod of orcas. With

her death it brings the total population down to 78 killers whales as compared to

around 200 in the 1800's.

MY OPINION

Sometimes I type quotes and I'm confused as to their meaning. But you may know

their meaning. So, what am I saying? I don't know. I'm just as confused as you are.

HEALTH

*(7:10 AM 1/5/2017 EDT) Breaking news from my computer screen and the

Washington Post. Studies involving infants and peanuts has contradicted

present beliefs.

Update: (10:03 AM 1/5/2017 EDT). Giving peanut based food to infants

prevent allergies.

*A Northwestern University study has concluded that late sleepers eat 248

more calories a day than those who get up early. In an earlier study they

found that people who loose sleep during the week and try to catch up with

sleep during the weekends are more prone to obesity and type 2 diabetics.

MY OPINION

The study involved 18 to 50 year olds leaving me out and although I was not

included, I still believe I can have an opinion in this matter. But to tell you the

truth, I don't really have an opinion, I just wanted to let you know that I have

a right to my opinion if I had one.

POLITICS

*In an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange

said that the democrats lost the election because they did not have the strongest

candidate in Hillary Clinton. The DNC (Democratic National Convention) did

not choose a candidate based on Democratic Party beliefs.

*Assange advised Trump to conduct a presidency of transparency (truth?) and

to those in his cabinet who do not come up to the standard of his term to fire

them at once. He also praised Trump for communicating directly to the

American people and not through the mainstream media.

*Hillary Clinton has been encouraged to run for the mayor of New York City.

*After flattering incoming senate minority leader, Chuck Schumer, Trump

has called him the "head clown" for not coming up with a democratic plan to

either fix or repeal Obama Care (Affordable Care Act).

MY OPINION

I believe Trump's plan for Medicaid, a block grant to the states, can be

incorporated with a change to the Affordable Care Act to provide health

insurance for those who need it at a more reasonable cost to the consumer.

Looks like I might as well forget about intermittent fasting again today because

I'm hungry (7:14 AM 1/5/2017 EDT) and I have very little will power this morning.

Maybe tomorrow?

I'll have a Orleans sardine sandwich. I've been back to Rite Aid several times

just recently and there where no Orleans sardines on the shelf. I know now that

because of me both the Orleans sardines and oil smoked mussels at Walmart

are sold out.

Just got back from going outside (8:06 AM 1/5/2017 EDT) to take the trash to the

container, to take two outgoing letters to the mailbox and to check the weather

gauge. The temperature is 19°, the humidity is 66%, the wind is blowing in from

the west at about 5 mph and the ground has a light dusting of snow.

Using the online calculators at:

http://www.dpcalc.org and http://www.onlineconversion.com., I get a wind

chill of 11.81° and a dew point of 10%.

It's snowing more heavily now with small flakes coming straight down. We have

maybe a 1/2 inch on the ground at this time (4:52 PM 1/5/2017 EDT) and with the

temperature around 21° it's starting to remain on the roadways and the ground.

An explanation of relative humidity and dewpoint:

"Dewpoint: Dewpoints above 65° makes it feel sticky and humid outside while

dewpoints of less than 65° are more comfortable. The higher the dewpoint is

above 65°, the more it will be sticky with more moisture in the air.

Relative Humidity: "The closeness the air is to saturation." When it has just started

to rain the humidity is not 100%. It takes time and a lot of evaporation for the air to

become saturated. When the relative humidity is less than 40%, it feels dry

outside but with a humidity of over 80% it feels moist. Dewpoint will determine if

it is uncomfortably moist or just regularly moist. Between 40 and 80% is

comfortable if the temperature is comfortable. The worse combination is a high

dewpoint of over 65° with a high relative humidity. The best for human comfort

is a dewpoint of about 60° and a relative humidity of 50 to 70%. This would put

the temperature at about 75°.

Again: "Dewpoint is related to the quantity of moisture in the air while relative

humidity is related to how close the air is to saturation."

I just thought you might like to know.
