STORIES OF MY LIFE AND TOLD IN ONE DAY....
As I told you several times before I'm over friendly, and because of that, health
care professionals believe that I'm manic and bipolar. Well, I'm not, I'm just over
friendly and I'm mostly alone which enables me to be more over friendly and to
observe human behavior. If you are attached to someone, you are obligated to
speak to that person which prevents you from greeting everyone.
I always thank people with a handshake who are veterans with the proper ball
cap indicating their branch of service or other like WW II, Korean Conflict,
Vietnam Veteran and the most recent conflicts in the Muslim world. My greeting
of thanks may extend into a short conversation depending on our shared
experiences or their patience. I do not wear the ball indicating U.S. Army or
Korea because I'd rather not publicize myself in this way.
Did you ever stand in a line and talk to no one? I don't do that. I talk to everyone
within eyesight. I can converse in a line in Walmart with the cashier, the person
behind me and the person behind them if the situation presents itself.
I don't touch people unless it looks like they want to touched and can tell when
they do. Just a handshake, a pat on the shoulder or the pat on the head of a child
if the parents are close and seem willing.
I say Hi to people who are passing even though there not looking and they will
say Hi back after passing me for some distance.
The say that there are 8 basic emotions: joy, trust, fear, surprise, sadness,
disgust, anger and anticipation. I, from a lot of years of being alone and
observing human behavior, can tell the emotion(s) that a person exhibits.
If they display disgust or anger, I normally just say Hi. For the rest I'll just have
to see what comes next after saying Hi to them.

*A recent study found that a person's ability to recognize faces grows with age.
*Incidents of flu are less this season, but flu shots are still advised.
*Medical professionals still believe that the Mediterranean diet is best for your
heart health.
*I'm in better health than everyone in this house and they are all younger than me.
I owe it all to eating good, moving, standing up typing and not resorting to anger.
MY OPINION
I don't have friends. All my friends are strangers. And you expect me to remember
all their faces.
I got a flu shot and they keep telling people to get a flu shot. Those people that
have not got a flu shot ain't going to get one. Lay off.
My diet mirrors the Mediterranean diet for the most part.

(1) Is the world better off without me in it? (2) Do I do enough to help others to
remain? (3) If I remain, does that take from others because of what I need to
survive? (4) Does my mental health interfere with the sanity of others? (5) Am I
just too old for the world to have a place for me? (6) Does me being over
friendly interrupt the lives of others? (7) Am I now a burden upon society?
I don't know why I'm asking all these questions of myself?
Well, maybe it's because I'm thinking how to avoid the normal burial.
I've already purchased burial plots, but I'd like to sell just mine if I could think
of another way. I have thought of another way, but I don't know if I can do it
in this area (Smithville, Ohio) unless, of course, it is as cold as it is today.
Some Native American Indian tribes followed the custom of allowing their
old people or others, who became a burden to their tribe, to walk off into the
wilderness and keep going until their life ended. I do not know what my drop-
date is but I hope that I will have my wits about me so that I can do that very
same thing.

Donald Glover, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield.
All are also nominees for Globe awards on Sunday.

MY OPINION
I've seen the First Lady, Michele Obama, speak on TV on several occasions. I
believe from her impassioned and motivating speeches that she should run to
be the first female president of the United States in 2024 and her husband,
Barack, would be the First Gentleman.
In her last speech to educators at the White House she said "I hope I've made
you proud."

President Vicente Fox of Mexico says his country will not pay for the border wall.
*Trump blames the DNC (Democratic National Committee) for allowing Russia
to hack into the U.S. election process. Trump also said that Russian hacking had
nothing to do with the outcome of the election.
*American intelligence finds that Russia and President Putin sought to help
Trump win the election and to cause Hillary Clinton to loose.

WEATHER
Weather for Smithville, Ohio
Today PARTLY_CLOUDY 13° 6°
Sun MOSTLY_SUNNY 16° 9°
Mon MOSTLY_CLOUDY 30° 25°
Tue RAIN_AND_SNOW 42° 34°
The Weather Channel - Weather Underground - AccuWeather
The house security box just inside the back door indicates that the high and low
temperatures of the day will be 14° and 7° which is pretty close to the forecast
above. Brrrrr!
The weather gauge I brought into the house yesterday shows a temperature of 71°
and a humidity of 34% (7:43 AM 1/7/2017 EDT). I going to take the gauge outside
and place it on the deck then wait an hour or so and then check the outside
temperature, humidity and the American flag on the pole for the wind direction
and speed.
The gauge that I just took outside was purchased from Goodwill for 99 cents.
I have another gauge which shows just the temperature. It's 8°. I did look at the
flag and there is hardly no wind at all, so the wind chill in my estimation would
be around 7° (7:57 AM 1/7/2017 EDT).
Returned outside (9:07 AM 1/7/2017 EDT) to check the weather. The temperature
is 9°, the humidity is 45% and the wind is blowing in from the west and slightly
north at maybe 3 mph.
I told you before that my belief is "waste not, want not." We have leftovers in the
upstairs refridgerator. I normally eat all the leftovers. This morning I ate one
chicken thigh and some califlower that was left over from last night. Americans
throw away about 1/3 of their food while other Americans go hungry. Shame on
them.
MY OPINION
Purchase only the food that you need, not want, and give the money that you would
have spent for food and thrown away to a food bank or when buying food for
both what you will eat and what you will throw away, give the food that you will
eventually throw away to a food bank. Seems like a good plan to me.
