STORIES OF MY LIFE AND TOLD IN ONE DAY....
You don't have to climb the mountain. But if you talk someone who has climbed
the mountain you will know a little bit more about it thereby creating something
in you mind, if you remember it, that you can talk to someone else about. Little
confused? Well, maybe I am too.
Let me try to explain what I just said in a different way.
I, being over friendly and alone, have talked to a lot of people. When I say talk, I
don't mean me talking. I don't learn anything if the only one that's talking is me.
To learn I need to listen. That's what I do. I mostly listen.
So, with that out of the way, let me try to explain in a different way what I typed in
the first paragraph.
Let's say that greet a person like I always do and instead of just saying Hi they
may want to talk a minute or so. I listen with my ears, eyes (no, not my nose) and
body language (to indicate I'm listening intently). I may also talk if they give a sign
that they want me to, but I never interrupt. I may know everything they are talking
about but usually not. So, I've gained some new knowledge that I can use in
conversing with other people I meet.
And if you have greeted and conversed with the hundreds of people that I've met
during my lifetime you will never run out of something important to say
I hope that explains it.
And you know there's something else, I gain knowledge from looking on the
computer using Google search for matching quotes and other necessary things,
but it ain't as good as listening and talking to a real live person.

*I'm going to stop typing about my health. That's what old people do and I don't
want you to think I'm an old person. I'm only 7 decades + 4 years old.
A survey was taken that said that 1/3 of people between 65 and 74 felt 10 to 19
years younger. I feel younger than that.
Most people in the survey said old age begins at 68. No, they're wrong.
The survey went on to state that people getting the senior discount says old age
begins at 75. Wrong again.
When people under 30 were asked the same question they said that old age
begins at 60. Wrong, wrong and wrong.
I'm aggravated at those people under 30 for saying that because I feel much
like one of them.

I knew lemon juice was good for you but I didn't know in what way it helped
your body. I told you the other day that I have a V-8 bottle with water and a cut

Before I take the weather gauge outside (5:38 AM 1/11/2017 EDT) that I brought
in yesterday, I'm going to type the inside weather. The temperature is 72° (a
little warm for me) and the humidity is 44%. I'll wait an hour or so and then check
the outside weather following the same procedure that I did yesterday.
Well, that didn't take long (5:46 AM 1/11/2017 EDT). The other temperature only
gauge read 32°. It has rained at sometime during the night and the slick ice of
yesterday has disappeared. I saw one lone star in the heavens and I'm missing
the Big Dipper that I use to tell which way is north. I know which way is north.
The front of the house faces north, but I still like to use the heaven and its stars
to make sure nothing has changed in this universe of ours.
Just went outside (7:36 AM 1/11/2017 EDT) to check the weather gauges. The
temperature is 35°, the humidity is 78%, the wind is rushing in the south at
about 5 mph and in the eastern sky, "red in the morning, sailors warning."
I'm having an Orleans sardine sandwich this morning and I'm going to make
my 2nd pot of coffee.
I just went outside again to take two outgoing letters to the mailbox. The wind has
finally had its say about the banner American flag that has been flying just
above the front porch. Since I ain't no Betsy Ross, I'll have to buy a new one.
I still have two. One is the garden American flag catty-cornered and across
the road from our mailbox and in the front yard. The other is on the border
corner pole I'm always telling you about that I use to check the wind speed and
direction.
