STORIES OF MY LIFE AND TOLD IN ONE DAY....
CONTINUED FROM YESTERDAY....
"I've always trusted this company because my Father was and two of my
cousins, Leroy and Lewis Cline, are customers of theirs."
I took Mother's Honda to Jenkin's Automotive in Harrisonburg, Virginia just north
of Valley Block at least twice for repairs. I cannot remember what the repairs
were, all I remember is that they did a good job for the money. If the repairs
were major, I'm sure I would remember.
Here in Ohio, I take the car to Leaches Auto Repair on Back Orrville Road. They
have replaced the tires (best tires-Michelin), aligned the front end and replaced
the radiator (new radiator). Several days ago, I took the car to Leaches for an oil
and filter change and to rotate the tires. They checked everything important for
the smooth operation of the vehicle to include besides the latter, tire pressure
and all fluid levels. They added fluid to the brake fluid reservoir, antifreeze to the
radiator and windshield wiper fluid to its container for less than $42.
In Omaha, Nebraska I went to Regency Auto for repairs and oil and filter
changes. They where located just west about 1/2 mile on Pacific Street from my
son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Erin's, apartment. Their major repair on the
Honda was to replace a bad alternator. They had to take apart a lot of the car
to get to the alternator and replace it. The small engine compartments of small
cars in 1986 don't leave you much room for maneuvering.
I left Omaha in January of 2016 and went to Las Vegas, Nevada where I lived in
Mother's car in a Walmart parking lot for about 3 and 1/2 months.
The only major repair I needed that I remember was to replace the starter motor.
The starter did not fail along the road, street or at the Walmart parking lot. It
went bad when I was in another parking lot where I went to CVS Pharmacy and
Planet Fitness. In the same lot was an O'Reilys auto parts. Lucky me. I attempted
to replace the starter myself after buying it from O'Reilys, but just like before in
Omaha there was little room for working. I worked on it for 3 days, sleeping in the
car and the lot, and finally got the starter out. It would have taken more than a
week or so before I installed the starter, if a young man had not stopped along
with his wife who had a breast feeding baby in her arms. He said he could
replace the starter in less than an hour. I promised him $50, but it took him over
two hours to replace the starter so I gave him all the cash I had. $74. I guess if
that young man would not have appeared, I might still have been there to this
very day.

*I've gotten a little nauseated the last few days. I hope it ain't that lemon juice that
I've been drinking.
*I have not pooped for several days. I told you the other day that poop moves
through your body in 8 hours. Its probably been at least 48 hours for me. That
means that I should have already pooped 6 times. Looks like I way behind.
The reason I'm not pooping can be attributed to several factors. (1) Not drinking
enough water. (2) I'm not pooping because of a medication I take. I'm not taking
any different medications right now. (3) Stress, but I'm never under stress. (4) I'm
wound too tight whatever that means. It might mean pretty close to number (3).
(5) Maybe I need to think more about doing it? Like concentrating. (6) I'm
blocked up. (7) My large intestines has become unattached from from my small
intestines. (8) My small intestines has become unattached from my stomach.
(9) My anus is closed. (10) My hemorrhoids are enlarged and blocking my large
intestines. (11) I can't for the life of me think of anything else.
Standing at this computer on my dresser and typing my story of today would
seem to me to relate to Newton's Law of Gravity. Meaning that my poop would
fall fast through my body. Don't that sound like common sense to you?
I'll keep you updated.
Update: (10:01 AM 1/15/2017 EDT). I just pooped and lost about 3 pounds. It's a
an absolute miracle. An almost 15 inch long poop that looks like a brown
foot-long hot dog with tapered ends and soft to the touch. What a delight.

*My predictions of the two playoff football games of yesterday were certainly
not right on target. I predicted that the Seattle Seahawks would win over the
Atlanta Falcons 31-28, but in the end the Falcons beat the Seahawks quite

In the 2nd game of the evening, I predicted the New England Patriots would win
over the Houston Texans 35-13. The Patriots did win over the Texans 34-16.
Well, I guess 1 out of 2 ain't bad and to beat it all, my prediction of the Patriot/

In the night cap I predict the Steelers will win over the Chiefs 28 to 21.
I'm picking the underdog in both games.
Maybe I'll do better today.
