Quotes, Ramblings and Such - 22 Feb 17 - 1300 EST

STORIES OF MY LIFE AND TOLD IN ONE DAY....

*When I awoke this morning and I remembered talking to the once a total

stranger when he told me his name and then went straight to bed and I started

crying like the tears falling over the falls of the great Niagara.

If you remember he said his name was Ryan Michael Shane, the first name of

my youngest son, Ryan, and the first and middle names of my firstborn,

Michael Shane.

WE CELEBRATE TODAY

*MY FATHER'S BIRTHDAY DAY

"Let's start a little early, please, because, after all, he was the only Father I ever

had."

Birth:      23 Feb 1918.

Death:    18 Jun 1991.

TO BE CONTINUED FOR A WHILE....

FACEBOOK AND OTHER FACES

*I just getting to know the body parts of Facebook.

The CEO a (Chief Executive Officer), the highest-ranking person in a company or

other institution, ultimately responsible for making managerial decisions.

Billionaire Marko Zuckerburger is the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Facebook

and so far leaning left that if he was setting on a wall like "Humpty Dumpty" he

would not "fall off the" front of the "wall" like Humpty Dumpty, but to the left and

fall off the wall onto his hiney.

*Besides Facebook, I have pages on Facelift that I mentioned on Facebook late

last night, Face X, Facelook in the Mirror and Laugh or Smile, not frown,

Moonface, We're All In This Together Face, Don't Look At Your Face In The

Mirror and others that I've forgotten about at the present time, but will tell you

later when I remember them.

*Marco Polo Burgermeister, it to a while to get to know you and your Facebook.

"Getting to know you, getting to know all about you.

Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me.

Getting to know you, putting it my way(or the highway, on the road again)

But nicely,

You are precisely,

My cup of tea (coffee),

Getting to know you,

Getting to feel free and easy

When I am with you,

Getting to know what to say

Haven't you noticed

Suddenly I'm bright and breezy

Because of all the beautiful and new

Things I'm learning about you

Day by day.

Sharing your spirit,

Sharing your tears and your laughter

Hoping it goes on,

Hoping it lasts endlessly

Getting to know you, putting it my way,

But sweetly, (Sweet Adeline),

You are completely,

My friend (all my friends are strangers) you see.

Telling you my (...Dream (s) of Jeannie ),

Getting to feel that you're with me

Making our own fun,

Knowing we know how to play

Now that I've met you

Suddenly I'm mostly happy

I've found a new pal, beautiful and true

Yes I'm talking about you (not about me, I'm a total stranger to you).

Friends today" (but not always), Facebook.

Another hanging at high noon  if they can catch me, maybe. I'm going outdoors

today to to cut down all the hanging trees in the yard.

From the movie: The King And I - ""Getting to Know You" is a show tune from

the 1951 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The King and I. It was first sung

by Gertrude Lawrence ...."

MetroLyrics

*Another similar song  "Like to Get to Know You" is a 1968 song from "Spanky"

Butt "and Our Gang" of 40 Thieves written by Stuart Scharf, the song debuted

at number 71 on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 20, 1968, and peaked at #17

on June 8, 1968."

This is about the time I graduated from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater,

Virginia after being separated from the military at Osan in South Korea. I was

then flown, along with a plane full of other soldiers, from Seoul, South Korea to

the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport in Washington State and then Dulles

International Airport just outside Washington, D. C. and, my luggage, having a

mind of their own flew into the older airport in Washington they have renamed

Martin Luther King, Jr. International Airport.

HEALTH

Declining honey bee population could spell trouble for some crops

Fox News

*"The honey bee contributes to a third of the country's food supply but the

population is declining. Last year eight percent of the bees disappeared

according to the American Beekeepers Federation."

I'm about to pee and poop.

*I told you yesterday that I needed to purchase some Scotts Grass Seed to sew

in the brown bare places in the yard. I went to Ace Hardware in Orrville

intending to buy grass seed when I talked to young who I see often and is

employed by Ace Hardware. He knows a lot for one so young and is friendly

and courteous like the ways of the south. He suggested that I use Scotts Patch

Master Repair Mix and said it should germinate in 2 to 3 days. I purchased 2

bags at a little less than $18.00 each and after looking at the brown bare places

this morning and I'm going to need a lot more than that.

*11:25 AM 2/22/2017 EST. I took all of the trash out of the house earlier this

morning, took two letters to the mailbox and placed about 12 small American

Flags in the ground in a line, border marker to border marker, in front of the

house just 2 feet south of Smucker Road. I'm right on time with this, President's

Day. February 22, but was changed to more spoil the American people with a

longer weekend and is observed in this year of 2017 on Monday, February 20.

I wonder what George Washington and Abraham Lincoln "who art in Heaven"

are thinking of this?

*The temperature on the all weather gauge is 57° and the humidity is 79% and

rising because it's not "raining cats and dogs,"but a much lighter rain that is

described by an old saying that I remember "it's raining flies and bugs." The

wind is almost silently blowing in from the south at 3 mph (miles per hour) or

less or maybe it's just because the American Flag is wet with rain? The skies are

white and grey the sun taking a rest from shining. I miss that, of course, but God,

again I thank you, for this weather in this time, the harshest month of our year,
