**If I remember nothing else in my life time I will remember this.

Mother lay in her dying bed, in her house and in hospice. We four kids were taking

turns taking care of her along with hospice's help. It was trial and error as to how

and what we fed her, as to how we cleaned her and and many other things that

were new to us kids hoping all along to do what was best for Mother in her dying

bed. We always hoped for a smile upon a lips or the way she smiled with her eyes.

She remained alive longer than hospice could imagine, I believe, to please us and

torn between staying with us and going on to Heaven.

The last two nights of her life involved Nancy, Roland and I. On the night before

her journey to Heaven, Nancy fed Mother morphine in trying to get her to relax

and breath while I cheered Mother on to swallow the medication. This first night

it worked. The second night Nancy and I did the same thing as we did the night

before but Mother finally decided that it was her time to leave to join her dear

Lord in Heaven.

It was the 1st day of spring 2015, a new beginning for Mother in Heaven and a

new beginning for us kids still here on earth. But you know what? Mother, like

our Father, left their footprints on this earth for us to follow.

**As you can see from above that on Tuesday and Wednesday the temperatures fall

below 40°. I need about 7 days of temperatures above 40° in order to reseed and

repair the brown places in the yard. So I'll just have to be patient.
