QUOTE FOR THIS POST

"Is there some magic when our eyes turn from blue to brown and back to blue

again?"

**I had an appointment with my eye doctor yesterday. I have glaucoma and growing

cataracts which prevents me from driving during the hours of darkness. Because of

the two different eyedrops I take, my eyes have turned from brown to blue. I was

blonde and blue-eyed when I was a kid so it looks like in one respect I'm a kid once

again.

I've had eye doctors in 4 different states in the last few years. Yesterday it was the

the Wooster Eye Center. I've also had eye doctors in Omaha, Nebraska; Las Vegas,

Nevada and Harrisonburg, Virginia.

In Virginia my eye doctor was Dr. McCormick. One time I made an for both Mother

and I. She was surprised to see dogs in the waiting room where we set. This was a

time in Mother's life were she had forgotten the names of her children and everyone

else. I was with Mother when Dr. McCormick examined her eyes and told her to

come back in 2 years and because of my glaucoma he told me to make an

appointment for 6 months from now. Mother always got a big kick out of that. She

would say that some guy took her to the eye doctor and he told her to come back

in 2 years and the man who took her had to go back in 6 months.

Dr. McCormick has since disappeared and the last I checked he is still missing. The

local newspaper said that they have contacted his family but have not received a

reply. His license to practice expired on May 31, 2016.
