STORIES OF MY LIFE AND TOLD IN ONE DAY....
*Ryan Michael has found another place to live that will give him more room to
work on the stories of his life. He found a small apartment in Orrville over
someone's garage and pays about $150 month. He said the owner's were an
elderly couple who needed a little extra income and that the rent could be
reduced sometimes if they needed help that he could do himself.
*1:17 PM 3/14/2017 EDST. Michael and Erin are just leaving the (1) quad city
area on the border of Illinois and Iowa. The have about 300 miles to go until
they get home in Omaha. I've made this trip by driving alone or by Greyhound
so many times I almost know it by heart.
(1) The Quad Cities, in order of descending population, are:
Davenport, Iowa.

IQ Scores & Ratings
"What is a good IQ ( Intelligence Quotient ) score? What is a high IQ score? What
is a low IQ score? These are common questions, particularly after someone finds
out their score from an IQ test.
Lewis Terman (1916) developed the original notion of IQ and proposed this scale
for classifying IQ scores:
Over 140 - Genius or near genius
120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence
110 - 119 - Superior intelligence
90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence
80 - 89 - Dullness
70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency
Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness
Normal Distribution & IQ Scores
The properties of the normal distribution apply to IQ scores:
50% of IQ scores fall between 90 and 110
70% of IQ scores fall between 85 and 115
95% of IQ scores fall between 70 and 130

*I've found a new sewing lady who is a 15 minute drive from here going towards

Aunt Nita. Judy is one of of those good old names from times past that I like to
hear. Judy the sewing lady is from Kentucky and calls herself a (1) briar-hopper.
She does a good job of sewing American Flag patches on my clothes.
(1) "noun, Usually Disparaging. (chiefly in Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee) a term
used to refer to a rustic or hillbilly, especially one from Appalachia."
I certainly disagree with the term disparaging. I believe that to be a compliment.
I believe I'm a briar-hopper too because I was raised in the Shenandoah Valley
of Virginia on the eastern slopes of the Appalachians.

probably no more than a reflection of recent reading).
As to where it came from, nobody has the slightest idea. It seems to be one of
those old-time euphemistic non-curses that were active in the spoken language
for decades, but which came to be recorded in print only long after their

*President Trump's plan to replace the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
His plan is called the American Health Care Act.
Differences in the Affordable Care Act and the American Health Care Act:
1. Tax credits to help buy insurance.
2. No more limits on healthcare savings.
3. No more fines for the uninsured.
4. Insurance companies now set their own prices.
5. Cuts to women's healthcare - mostly to Planned Parenthood.

MY OPINION
I have 3 insurance plans. There is never enough room on the form you fill out
for a 3rd insurance. I literally have no copays except for a few dollars once in
a while on prescription medications.
If I had no insurance when Barack Obama was president or now with Donald
Trump, I would probably prefer President Trump's American Health Care Act.
The reasons are tax credits to help buy insurance, no more limits on healthcare
savings, no more fines for the uninsured, allow health insurance to be purchased
across state lines, offer full premium tax deductions, emphasize health savings
accounts, require price transparency from health insurers and remove barriers
to entry for overseas drug providers.

*6:25 AM 3/14/2017 EDST. Kremlin says Syrian peace talks in Astana (capital city

MY OPINION
The war in Syria has been long going involving many countries including Russia,

senseless slaughter of innocent men, women and children can finally come to an
end with the dictator and murderer Assad convicted and hung, beheaded or shot
dead because of his war crimes.

"The word hijab refers to both the head-covering traditionally worn by some
Muslim women and modest Islamic styles of dress in general."
We in the United States have a firm First Amendment with rights that allow
wearing of the hijab (headdress) by all citizens.
Europe is taking another step backward from freedom.
