**I sprayed weed killer on several places in the yard and flower beds that I wanted to die

and planted 3 different varieties of sunflower seeds in several flower beds.

I later drove to Orrville to pickup somethings for the house.

**Boy am I confused. I missed putting the American flags out front for Mother's Day

yesterday and wrongly believing that Armed Forces day was today so I thought I'd place

the flags out front this morning (7:08 AM 5/15/2017) to cover both yesterday and today.

I turns out that Armed Forces Day is the 3rd Saturday in May which is the 20th. So I'll

leave the flags out front for a couple of days, take them down and then place them out

front again on the 19th through the 21st of May.

I have to drive to Wooster for a few hours today, but should have a few hours left to plant

seeds in the flower beds. The weather forecast says that the high temperature will be 68°

with sunny skies today and temperatures in the 80s the next 3 days. I still have to buy 6

bags of black mulch and a plastic container of weed killer and I should be able to buy those

items at Ace Hardware in Orrville. I have to pickup some prescription medications from

Rite Aid so I'll purchase the above items while I'm there.

**Why do people get angry? Does anger resolve anything? I think not. It only makes

matters worse.

Some anger Bible verses:

Ephesians 4:26-31
26 “In your anger do not sin” : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and

do not give the devil a foothold.  29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your

mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it

may benefit those who listen. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and

slander, along with every form of malice.

James 1:19-20

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow

to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the

righteousness that God desires.

Proverbs 29:11
11 Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.

James 1:20
20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Proverbs 19:11
11 A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.

Ecclesiastes 7:9
9 Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

Proverbs 15:1
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Proverbs 15:18
8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice,

slander, and filthy language from your lips.

James 4:1-2
1 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that

battle within you? 2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get

what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.

Proverbs 16:32
32 Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.

Proverbs 22:24
24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily

Matthew 5:22

22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sisterwill be subject to

judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’is answerable to the court.

And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Psalm 37:8-9
8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. 9 For those

who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

"Why do people get angry" when they know it's a sin?

Moscow. Washington Post - ‎11 hours ago‎.

"Russia has yet to collect much of what it hoped for from the Trump administration,

including the lifting of U.S. sanctions and recognition of its annexation of Crimea."

**Over the years the United States has annexed or obtained because of war ( Spanish–

American War in April 1898 – August 1898), or treaty 16 territories:

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Major islands: Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Minor Outlying Islands: Bajo Nuevo Bank, Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island,

Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Islands, Navassa Island, Palmyra Atoll, Serranilla

Bank, Wake Island."

As far as I know there were few or no resistance to those living in these territories unlike

the fighting now taking place in the Crimea. I doubt that President Trump along with his

military advisers will start thinking about lifting sanctions until Putin withdraws his

military forces from the Crimea.

ZDNet - ‎1 hour ago‎.

"New ransomware samples of WannaCrypt variants have been discovered in the wild but it

is yet to be seen if they pose the same threat as the first ransomware attack wave."

**I remember the BBC saying yesterday that newer and bigger ransomware are yet to

come. I believe they're going to be right.

*8:26 AM 5/15/2017 EDT. Trump assessing how moving US embassy in Israel affects peace

prospects. CBS News - ‎23 minutes ago.‎

"WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump is assessing whether moving the U.S. Embassy

in Israel to Jerusalem would help or hurt prospects for clinching an Israeli-Palestinian

peace deal, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said...."

**Both former President George W. Bush wanted to and now President Trump wants to

move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Israel became a nation on May 14,

1948 and Jews from around the world came to their new country. Arabs hate the Jews and

I don't believe that in my grandchildren's lifetime that this will change. Go ahead and

move the embassy, President Trump, the prospects for peace is dead.

*8:45 AM 5/15/2017 EDT. Charlottesville protest: Torch-wielding group rallies against

Virginia Confederate statue removal. Fox News - ‎14 hours ago.‎

"Protesters rally against the planned removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville,

Va. Saturday, May 13, 2017. (Fox 27 Charlottesville)."

**I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. If you drive U. S. Route 33 east through

the Shenandoah National Park for about an hour more or less you'll reach Charlottesville,

Virginia. This is home to the University of Virginia founded by Thomas Jefferson and

hospitals that have treated people that I know.

What is wrong with taking down statues of our nation's leaders of the past? I simply don't

understand it. Why don't they take down the statues of General and President Hiram

Ulysses Grant? He was also a leader in the Civil War.
