YESTERDAY AND TODAY

**Yesterday. I usually have boundless energy, but for some reason I became wore out and

was so tired that I should have watered the flower beds and places in the yard but didn't. I

might have gotten an hour less sleep than my usual 6 or 7 hours sleep.

Even though I was tired I posted my story (blog) of the day and a video.

I then went to Bell Stores gas station for some fuel for the riding mower and to Buehlers's

grocery store for things that were needed for the house and myself.

After returning to the house I went outdoors to plant the remaining 6 bulbs, I thought I

had only 3, sowed some grass seed in mainly the southeast area of the property, replanted

some plants and removed the plants from 1 of the 4 quadrants of the flower bed in the

southeast corner of the property to sow some seeds from the box of annual/perennial

spring mix that I purchased at General Dollar for $2.

About 4:00 PM, I called it a day and came back into the house and maybe published

another video.

**Today. The weather calls for a high and low temperature of 78° and 62° along with

isolated thunderstorms. What's the difference between isolated thunderstorms and

scattered thunderstorms??

The forecast high temperature for the next 3 days is 85° tomorrow, 89° on Sunday and 91°

on Monday in getting closer to my favorite 3 digit temperatures.

I don't know if I have any driving duties today and if not I'll spend the latter part of this

day in sewing grass seed, weeding, spraying weed killer and maybe some replanting of

plants. Until I drive back to Lowes in Wooster to buy some discounted plants, I have very

little to do but that.

After many days of trying, I may be able to upload a subscribe icon (button) to

blogger.com as well as publishing a video or so.

I HAVE SOMETHING ON MY MIND

**I don't whine or talk about my health, for the most part, unless it comes up in a

conversation with another person or persons. Most older people talk about their health

or the weather because that is what's in common with almost all older folks.

The accepted definition of an old person is 65 years of age or older. I'm 74 years old so I'm

an old person + 9 years, 10 years this coming October 27th.

When I go to my doctor, Dr. Kwok, the nurse always asks me, like she asks all old people,

have you been in the hospital, have you fallen and other questions ask of old people that I

can't remember right now. I tell her I haven't been in the hospital which is the truth and

I haven't fallen which is a lie. I don't believe a lie is wrong if it doesn't hurt anyone. I've

fallen in Walmart about a month ago and eventually got up on my own with about 3 people

offering assistance. I fell just yesterday while working in the flower beds and the yard on

the grass that is almost like a 3 inch carpet and I got up right away with no sustainable

injuries.

So, I'm in pretty good health considering my age except for what my Father use to say

when his muscles and joints were sore in the morning, "I'm all stoved up."

"Like Father, like son."

NEWS AND A COMMENT

*6:41 AM 6/9/2017 EDT. May's gamble on a snap British vote backfires spectacularly, but

she resists calls to step down. Washington Post - ‎40 minutes ago‎.

"LONDON - Despite a shock election result that robbed her party of its parliamentary

majority, British Prime Minister Theresa May will ignore calls for her resignation and seek

to form a new government on Friday."

**A few days ago, Prime Minister Theresa May's lead was down to 1 point. Yesterday the

the news predicted an overwhelming parliamentary majority, but reality set in and she lost

the parliamentary majority.

But you know, I'm glad she refuses to step down because I like her who is much like the

British Prime Minsters' of the past, like Margaret Thatcher and Winston Churchill.

*6:44 AM 6/9/2017 EDT. Comey Bluntly Raises Possibility of Trump Obstruction and

Condemns His 'Lies.' New York Times - ‎3 hours ago.

"“Those were lies, plain and simple,” James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, told the

Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, discussing White House explanations for his

firing."

**So who is telling the truth? James Comey or President Trump?

From the English Standard Version (ESV):

John 8:32.

"and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

*6:49 AM 6/9/2017 EDT. Japan's Parliament Passes Law Allowing Emperor to Abdicate.

New York Times - ‎7 hours ago‎.

"Emperor Akihito, much revered by the people of Japan, transformed the role of emperor

after succeeding his father, Hirohito, in 1989."

**I visited Japan once when I got liberty off the troop ship I was on headed for South

Korea. It might have been a matter of a few hours because I don't remember, it being the

year of 1964 or 1965.

My son, Michael, was stationed there later on as a member of the U. S. Air Force. His

daughter, my granddaughter, was born there and as a result she has dual citizenship.

Excerpt from full article.

By James Trew @itstrew.

"GoPro surprised everybody when it teased its "Fusion" 360-degree action camera back in

April. Mostly because GoPro rarely teases anything (Karma, perhaps being the exception),

preferring to show up out of nowhere with a glossy release video and launch event. The

half-reveal didn't tell us much, just that there was a camera coming in the fall, it had a

resolution of 5.2K, a feature called "OverCapture" that would allow you to "punch out" a

regular video from the spherical capture and well, that was kinda it.

Today the company is willing to show a lot more leg, as it were. In fact, GoPro is using the

Mountain Games (which it sponsors) as a platform to show it to the world for the first

time...."

"James began writing for music magazines in the UK during the '90s. After a few failed

attempts at a DJ career, he carved out a living reviewing DJ and music production gear.

Now he lives in the Bay Area, covering drones, fitness tech and culture, though he keeps

his DJ gear plugged in and on show. You never know."

**I have failed to learn to take videos with my computer, my Canon camera and my Total

Wireless cell phone. I use my GoPro that I purchased in the Walmart in Las Vegas. I

bought the cheapest one, maybe about $125 with an extended warranty. I does the job I

need it to do. All of the videos of mine you see on YouTube and other social media sites like

Facebook, Google +, reddit, blogger, Twitter, digg, Linkendin, Stumble Upon and Pinterest,

I use my GoPro.

My limited research has found out that the GoPro Fusion will sell in excess of $5,000. As

long as my cheap GoPro keeps working I'll not need another.
