YESTERDAY AND TODAY

**Yesterday. I did very little, but standing typing on my computer on the top of my dresser

swinging my legs side to side for exercise. I guess if you've been running or standing most

all your life, you just get use to doing it.

Later in the evening I went to Walmart to purchase dogie treats for that spoiled dog, a

Maltese, whose name is Dolly Jo. I have 3 videos on YouTube showing you the antics of

that manic and bipolar dog. Although almost 11 years old, she can still run up and down

the steps, however, we've had to carpet the hardwood steps so that she can keep her

traction. She's healthy because we give her no table food, just Purina in a can, and she

gets plenty of exercise as you can see from my videos. After leaving Walmart I drove to

Burger King and McDonald's for take out.

I did not go outdoors to work in the flower beds for the 3rd day in a row. It has been a

long time since that happened. I keep saying maybe tomorrow and this time I hope that it

happens.

**Today. I need to drive to Wooster Community Hospital again to talk to Dr. Kwok about

the results of some of tests I had done yesterday. The last 2 tests that I told you about

were negative for any maladies and I was assured when talking by phone to the

receptionist, Elizabeth II, that it was nothing serious. And because of this I've failed to

take my morning medications which I'll take this very minute, 3:21 PM 7/12/2017 EDT.

3:26 PM 7/12/2017 EDT. I just finished and I would have taken less time, but I had to pee

first. That reminds me. The most views of any of the videos I have on YouTube was of me

peeing in the urinal in the restroom in Walmart entitled "I've got to pee, bad."

The weather forecast calls for high and low temperatures of 86° and 73° with thunder-

storms for the 3rd day in a row, but if there is a break in the weather, meaning no

lightening, I'll sure be in the flower beds pulling weeds.

I HAVE SOMETHING ON MY MIND

**After publishing yesterday's blog, I drove to Wooster to Staples to purchase the business

cards I had ordered. In line in front of me was a man who was in charge of building

GooGoo Car Washes whose main offices are at 6021 Coca-Cola Blvd. Columbus, Georgia.

My internet search just found out now that there are 4 GooGoo Car Washes in Columbus,

Ohio and 1 each in North Randall, Ohio; Springfield, Ohio and 1 here in Wooster on

Cleveland Road. Other locations are in Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas, the only

state west of the Mississippi River. My son, Michael, use to work for a company based

near Chicago, managing car washes throughout the mid-west and my nephew, Kevin, is in

charge of managing the Bridgewater Car Wash near Bridgewater, Virginia. It looks like the

family tree instead of carpentry, farming and teaching as major vocations, needs to add car

washes as part of our family history.

The man talked about the locations of the car washes he had built, 1 in Houston, Texas

where I lived for awhile. We continued to talk, both of us smiling, while the clerk

continued to struggle with the stapler, needed to staple the large GooGoo advertisement

sheets together. The man, we did not exchange names, finally took charged of the stapler

and stapled the sheets together, stronger than the clerk who was attempting to do it. After

he paid, he left as we said our goodbye's, and then I paid about $24 for my business cards.

The clerk commented just before I left that the man in front of me that just left and I were

the only ones during the day that didn't complain about something.

From the Bible:

Philippians 2:14 ESV

"Do all things without grumbling or questioning,"

James 5:9 ESV

"Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold,

the Judge is standing at the door."

James 5:9 ESV

"Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the

Judge is standing at the door."

1 Peter 4:9 ESV

"Show hospitality to one another without grumbling."

1 Corinthians 10:10 ESV

"Nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer."

Exodus 16:8 ESV

"And Moses said, “When the Lord gives you in the evening meat to eat and in the morning

bread to the full, because the Lord has heard your grumbling that you grumble against

him—what are we? Your grumbling is not against us but against the Lord.”

Philippians 2:14-15 ESV

"Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent,

children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among

whom you shine as lights in the world ....,"

From: https://www.openbible.info/topics/complaining.

When you complain you're wasting time and besides that it's a sin, and at my age I don't

have the time to waste time or live a sinful life because I'm getting closer to going to

Heaven, I hope.
