YESTERDAY AND TODAY
**YESTERDAY. Most of the morning was spent on my daily blog of Jamison Well Drilling
who replaced our water tank in the basement.
I later drove to Orrville to Rite Aid for a prescription medication and a pack of fig newtons
for $1.00. Then to Ace Hardware for wood filler, Murphy's Oil Soap and to Buehler's Fresh
Foods that is attached and west of Ace Hardware for some single fruits and a few other
things I don't remember buying.
After returning from Orrville, I went outdoors to spread 2 bags of pearl black mulch after
sowing some grass seed. I covered most of the front flower bed with mulch with about 10
bags to spread yet in the front flower beds and the back flower beds. There were
thunderstorms during the night, Sarah Palin (Seroquel) preventing me from hearing them
and giving me a good night's sleep.
After coming back into the house, I showered, dressed and then drove to Orrville again
for takeout at Taco Bell, McDonald's' for a hamburger for our dog Dolly Jo, a Maltese, to
Dairy Queen and then back to house where I prepared my nightly salad along with a half of
a slab of baby back ribs and ate it while watching 'Law and Order, Special Victim's Unit' on
TV. Then my simple prayer and to bed.
**TODAY. I'm getting an early start this morning (4:31 AM 8/20/2017 EDT). I went to
sleep about 10:00 PM last night so I slept about 6 and a 1/2 hours last night so I'll be up
and moving around for 17 and a 1/2 hours today. I should have plenty of time to finish my
daily blog I'm working on right now, publish at least 3 videos, publish a postcrossing and
go outdoors to spread some more of the pearl black mulch, sow some more grass seed
and to dig out the weeds that I've ignored or not had time for in the front flower beds.
The weather forecast calls for high and low temperatures of 87° and 67° with mostly
sunny skies while my Acurite Weather Gauge displays a present temperature of 59°(??), a
barometric pressure of 29.98 and an almost full moon tonight.
With mostly sunny skies and with enough time I should be able to accomplish a lot of work
in the flower beds and the yard today.
I HAVE SOMETHING ON MY MIND
**I typed a letter today to send by email, WCSO@wcsohio.org, to the Wayne County
Sheriff's Department.
Two days ago, I talked to a police woman from the Smithville Police Department inside the
BP (British Petroleum) station on Main Street. Almost everything is on Main Street because
Smithville's population is 1,263 (2014) an increase of 11 people since the 2010 census
(1,252) and known as the 'Heart of Wayne County.' A Central Fire District volunteer or
chief was also in the BP station and I talked to him too. I find a reason for talking to
everyone, also talking to the the women waiting on me. I remember their names, but I
can't tell you because of the Privacy Act of 1974. Those waiting on me agreed that women
were multitaskers and men were lucky to accomplish 1 task, they not knowing that I'm a
multitasker too. But I ain't no woman.
I related to Smthville Policewoman, Officer _________, about the seeding ticket I got and
told her the truth. I liked giving and I gave $5.00 to the policewoman and the same to
the fire department officer for something I can't remember.
And I just remembered something else. Do you know who is the highest in the chain of
command over state troopers, local sheriff deputys and city or town police. It is your
friendly forest ranger hired by the federal government.
This is the only contact (WCSO@wcsohio.org) I could find for the Wayne County Sheriff's
Department that I could find to send the following to:
I just wanted to tell you about Sergeant C. Ellis pulling me over for speeding just off U. S.
Route 585. I admitted to speeding and he said that he had clocked me at 72 miles per hour,
17 miles per hour over the speed limit of 55 miles per hour. I typed in my daily blog of the
next day, I believe, that Sergeant C. Ellis should have clocked me sooner, me and my old
Honda going at least 82 miles per hour, 27 miles per hour over the speed limit between
Smithville and the about 2 mile stretch between there and slowing down for my approach
into Wooster where Sergeant C. Ellis clocked me.
I just want to say that Sergeant C. Ellis was polite and professional what I like in a peace
officer.
I ain't no tattle tell, but I need to tell you this. I've gotten up to speeds of 80 miles per
hour or so between the shopping complex including Walmart, Lowes and other stores on
U.S. Route 83 (Burbank Road) beginning at the wide curve to the right in the left lane until
slowing down for the off ramp to U. S. Route 585 and Smithville. Several days ago I kept
within the speed limits and was passed by almost everyone and I don't like that at all. You
could make some big money here until the motorists caught on and if you could find some
place to hide.
I'll tell this in my daily blog of today plus some other things in the section I HAVE
SOMETHING ON MY MIND. I also have videos on YouTube of me telling my webcam how
fast this old man and his old Honda are going at 75 to 85 miles per hour.
I just thought I ought thank Sergeant Charles Ellis and I think, Sheriff Travis Hutchinson,
you should at least give him a pat on the back.
