**YESTERDAY. After publishing 2 blogs, 1 a postcrossing about a picture

postcard I mailed to someone in Hualien City, Taiwan. I also published 1 video of

me saying Hi to my grandchildren.

I later drove to Wooster to Lowes, Staples and Walmart. At Lowes I purchased 4

bags of black mulch, 5 mums at 5 for $5 and another discounted perennial. At

Staples I picked up my new business cards, 1000 for about $32. At Walmart I

purchased a 30 day supply of probiotics, a bag of 6 boiled eggs for a $1.97 and

a few other items that I can't remember for right now.

Upon returning to the house, I off loaded the 4 bags of mulch at the appropriate

places in the yard near the flower beds and the 6 plants under the peach tree in

the southwest patio/flower bed. It was too late to get much done outdoors so I

prepared and ate my usual salad while watching 'Blue Bloods' on TV, then my

prayer and to bed.

**TODAY. I'll publish 2 blogs, 1 a postcrossing about someone who has

mailed to me a picture postcard who lives Hong Kong and maybe 1 video.

I'm continuing to delete my own videos on YouTube that have less than 10

views, but still have about 135 videos down from a high of about 180.

The weather forecast calls for a high and low temperatures of 65° and 44° with

partly cloudy skies and no rain for the next 2 days.

I need to go outdoors to plant the 6 plants I bought yesterday, sow grass seed in

the brown places where I've sprayed weed killer and spray more weed killer on

the weeds growing up our U-shaped driveway and on other weeds in the yard.

**What is globalization?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

"Globalization is the increasing interaction of people through the growth of the

international flow of money, ideas and culture. It involves goods and services,

and the economic resources of capital, technology and data. Advances in the

means of transport and in telecommunications infrastructure (including the rise

of the telegraph and its modern offspring, the Internet and mobile phones) have

been major factors in globalization, generating further interdependence of

economic and cultural activities."

What does this increase in globalization mean to you and me? Does it mean that

we will lose our culture identity because of an increase of people interacting

around the world? Sure it does. In the future, my southern accent will disappear,

replaced by a single culture with no accents to identify one's origins.

Does globalization mean that companies will rule the world instead of a country's

government elected by the country's people? Sure it does.

Are there organizations that promote globalization? Sure there are. The liberal

mass media. CNN (Chaotic No News), ABC (Adding Bad to Complicated), CBS

(Concerned with Bull Sh$%) and NBC (Negative Bad Contradictions).

What can you and I do? Besides not listening or watching the above so-called

news networks there is little we can do. They are guarnteed free speech by the

1st Amendment which does not allow infringing on the freedom of the press.

If people of the world in the future learn to know only 1 language, will God

recreate the mythical Tower of Babel again?
