**YESTERDAY. After publishing my daily blog and sharing a YouTube video of

Ernest Tubb singing 'Thanks a Lot', I drove to Orrville to Dollar General for

Oxi-clean, Windex, Era and large band-aids that I place over my left eye to keep

me from rubbing it while I sleep.

With the long drought everything is drying out and with spending over $10,000

for the work that Wade Plumbing did in the basement, I'm always concerned that

our well will run dry if I water the flower beds every day. So, I'm watering every

3 days and with plenty of black mulch that I've spread on the flower beds to help

contain moisture, I'm hoping that every 3 days will be enough.

**TODAY. After publishing my daily blog and another dealing with a picture

postcard I received in the mail from someone who lives in Finland, we are going

to Walmart in Wooster to shop for groceries and other needed items.

The weather forecast calls for high and low temperatures of 69°and 39° with

sunny skies, a high of 80° on Wednesday and rain on this next Thursday, Friday

and Sunday.

**I cannot understand why so many people are so prejudiced against the Jews.

I've met a lot of Jews and there is nothing that would cause me to dislike them.

I know that radical Muslims hate the Jews, but that mainly is because of a wide

difference in religious beliefs, many Muslims also believing that Israel is

occupying their land in the Middle East.

From a speech about the irrationality of anti-Semitism by professor Michael

Curtis, of Rutgers University, 1987.

Economic -- "We hate Jews because they possess too much wealth and power."

Chosen People -- "We hate Jews because they arrogantly claim that they are the

chosen people."

Scapegoat -- "Jews are a convenient group to single out and blame for our

Deicide -- "We hate Jews because they killed Jesus."

Outsiders, -- "We hate Jews because they are different than us." (The dislike of

the unlike.)

Racial Theory -- "We hate Jews because they are an inferior race.

I care about all races of people on our earth and anti-Semitic-ism is not a word I

like to hear. The only word I like to hear when talking about people is anti-evil.

*"Google plans to upgrade two-factor authentication tool after high-profile

hacks." The Verge.

*"Merkel allies fret over former East Germany's rightward shift." Reuters.

I like the word "rightward."

* "Italy says to expel North Korea envoy over nuclear, missile tests." Reuters.

North Korea continues to be more isolated from the world.

*"The FDA has approved a blood sugar monitor that doesn’t require a finger

prick." Sarah Buhr. Good news for all diabetics.

*"Methane From Livestock: Scientists Underestimated Impact Of Cow Fart On
