YESTERDAY AND TODAY

**YESTERDAY. After publishing my daily blog, a collection of Tweets and a video,

I drove everyone to the hair salon off Arlington Road in Akron that I mentioned

yesterday. I also told you yesterday that I don't get my hair cut or get it styled to

make me look more beautiful. Fat chance, for sure.

While the rest of the family members were getting their hair cut, styled and/or

tinted, I drove down Arlington to Taco Bell. My favorite takeout is beef soft tacos,

the wraps from McDonald's being 2nd best. I remained there for about an hour

and then drove back to the hair salon. I then drove us to the Walmart where I

bought a new Marketside Hummus and 1 loaf of 100% wheat bread.

I then drove back to Orrville to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription medication and

then back to the house.

**TODAY. I should be able to publish my daily blog and 2 collections of Tweets.

The weather forecast calls for high and low temperatures of 70° and 52° with

cloudy skies, a humidity level of 81% and winds at 7 miles per hour. There is a

prediction for rain on Sunday with none for the next 5 days.

I need to gather up the remaining ripe peaches and tomatoes and pull up the

dying sunflowers and place them on the fire pit for burning later on after drying.

As far as I know, I have no driving duties today, but I'll just wait and see what

happens. You never know what a new day may bring.

I HAVE SOMETHING ON MY MIND

**I have long hair that is still brown with a few hairs of grey. It is over 4 inches

down past my shoulders from a military style of almost 2 years ago. Will I catch

up with Willy Nelson? Probably not.

What does the Bible say about long hair?

From www.openbible:

1 Corinthians 11:14-15 ESV (English Standard Version).

"Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for

him, but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for

a covering."

The above verse says that a man who grows his hair long is sinful, but the verse

below seems to say almost the opposite. Maybe I'm taking the verses together to

to make excuses for my sin of growing long hair?

Even though growing my hair long is probably a sin, I believe, like below, that

I judge people by their warm hearts and not their appearance.

1 Samuel 16:7 ESV (English Standard Version).

"But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of

his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man

looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”"
