**YESTERDAY. I published my daily blog and another a collection of Tweets for

October 6 and 7. I also, after publishing no videos for about 3 weeks, published

another, the 3rd one in 2 days.

I later went out to the back flower beds and gathered up more tomatoes and

peaches, hoping to find someone to give them to while they remained ripe and

and before they became rotten.

I later drove to Orrville to Taco Bell for takeout. My favorite, beef soft taco.

**TODAY. I hoping today or in the near future to find free music on YouTube

to dance to. So far from the free music I've danced to, I can dance much more

faster than the music.

The weather forecast calls for high and low temperatures of 75°and 63° with

scattered showers, the humidity level at 70% and winds of 7 miles per hour.

Much the same weather is predicted for tomorrow, sunny skies on Tuesday and

scattered showers again on Wednesday. The lawn is still brown from the almost

3 week drought and may recover if the predicted rain will scatter to this area.

Indian summer has made its' presence longer than anytime that I can remember

and I'm still hoping that Indian summer will remain until the first part of May

next year. And you know that ain't going to happen.

**This is Sunday when some people go to church except Seventh Day

Adventists and Muslims who go to mosque when the call to prayer is sounded,

mosque meaning pretty much the same thing as church. I know that the Amish

and Mennonites go to church every Sunday because going to church is part of

their culture. In the case of the Amish, an individual or clique are frowned upon

for not being in church every Sunday.

"According to the Hartford Institute of Religion Research, more than 40

percent of Americans “say” they go to church weekly. As it turns out, however,

less than 20 percent are actually in church. In other words, more than 80 percent

of Americans are finding more fulfilling things to do on weekends."

I haven't gone to church almost every Sunday since I was kid dressed in a suit, a

little short from the tops of my shoes to the bottoms of my trousers, white shirt

and bow tie along with my parents, my sister and 2 brothers. I have gone to

church for funerals, weddings and once when a woman preacher invited me to

hear her preach about the confessions of her life.

Does God want us to go to church? I'm sure God does for us to tell people about

God, to worship him and his son, Jesus, our savior who art in Heaven.

Here's what I believe. Some of the less than 20% who go to church believe that

church is a social club, talking to others about their last week's experiences and

the preacher is simply "preaching to the choir." Those also in attendance believe

that their past week's sins are forgiven and after leaving church they commit

those same sins again knowing they will be forgiven again next Sunday.

Remember, I said "Some of the less than 20%, not everyone.
