12 Nov 17 - 1411 ET - Things I have on my mind

*On YouTube. Women assaulting the McDonald's manager over missing

Chicken McNuggets. I might fight over a double quarter pounder, but never over

Chicken McNuggets.

*In case my drop-dead, expiration or kick the bucket date comes before

Thanksgiving, I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas and a very

Happy New Year.

*A blog about coffee and collections of Tweets & Other things I have on my

mind today at: Just Tweeted. That's called

*I may watch the Cleveland Browns play today. They play the Detroit Lions at

1:00 PM ET. , Having had their bye week, their record is 0 - 8, the San Francisco

49ers at O - 9. Will the Browns have a perfect record of 0 - 16?

Update: 2:06 PM 11/12/2017 ET. Browns 10 - Lions 10.

*Thank goodness. I believe the mighty fly is gone for the year with the coming

winter, and with no wishes that the fly return next year. Yes, I know the fly is

one of God's creature, but I just wish the fly would become extinct like the

*Why is it that on some days the world seems to be against you, and other days,

you and the rest of the world appear to be considered as one?

*I might be thought of as old and useless to some, but as long as I have my

dignity and self-esteem intact, I won't believe those young people who think

or say so.

*I've told you frequently that I'm overweight, but not obese. I eat better food

than most, but I just eat more than my share of good food.

*"I usually clean my room and the 2 bathrooms in the house once a week.

I mean almost like spring cleaning. Is it true that "cleanliness is next to

"Being clean is a sign of spiritual purity or goodness, as in Don't forget to wash

your ears-cleanliness is next to godliness. This phrase was first recorded in a

sermon by John Wesley in 1778, but the idea is ancient, found in Babylonian and

Hebrew religious tracts. It is still invoked, often as an admonition to wash or

clean up."

*It's Sunday and 44° with chance of showers, much better than the low 30°

temperatures of the last few days. I've kind of given up on another Indian

summer, but one never knows, do they?
