**YESTERDAY. I told you I was feeling kind of yucky for a few days with nasal
and chest congestion, coughing up a oyster-like substance and, like my father
use to say, "I'm all stoved up," meaning I sore over most of my body.
At my 2:20 PM appointment with Dr. Kwok, an old people's doctor, he checked
me all over and then rushed out of the patient room to his next patient. His office
might bill Medicare for around $150, but they'll only pay about $75. Let's
say Dr. Kwok has a full staff of 8 including himself and sees 20 patients a day,
then he will receive from Medicare a total of $1,500. The remainder of his staff
receives a total $672 at, I'm guessing, $12 an hour, Dr. Kwok would receive
$828. If utilities and other cost $200 a day, Dr. Kwok would receive $628 a day
and a little over $78 dollars an hour.
**TODAY. I don't have much to say for today yet, so instead of you reading and
me typing, I'll do nothing and not waste your time or mine.

LBGT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender and has nothing to do
with what I going to type. I just thought you'd like to know. I sure like knowing.
What I'm going to type about is arranged/convenience marriages, both meaning
about the same to me.
Are you a part of a culture that seeks arranged/convenience marriages for a
family child or adult? We are free in this country to choose our marriage partner
and not an arranged/convenience marriage.
But 82 years ago things were different. My Mother's family was probably first
Amish, then Mennonite and then Brethren in keeping up with religious times, so
to speak. In 1935 my Mother began dating my Father. Her Father, my
grandfather Cline wanted Edith, my Mother, to marry a preacher. But Father's
don't always get their way when dealing with their children, so my grandfather
said to my Father "if you date my daughter for 5 years, you can marry her."
This story has a happy ending because my Father dated my Mother for 5 years
and they married in 1940. Two years later I was born, then about 2 years later
my brother, Roland, then about 2 years later my sister, Nancy, then about 2
years later my brother, Jerry.
