NOV 24, 2017 - 7:41 AM ET. BLACK FRIDAY.

**TODAY. Nothing on the schedule for today, so I'll refrain from saying anything

else. Period.

A picture postcard I received from someone in Finland.

"It's Black Friday, so be kind and polite, it's a sin to covet a great deal that the

person beside you desires."

Forrest Caricofe

Google search: About 1,540 results (1.30 seconds).

No results found for "It's Black Friday, so be kind and polite, it's a sin to covet a

great deal that the person beside you desires."

You certainly didn't search as much as usual, Google. Are you feeling ill today?

**They'll be some rough housing (disorderly, or noisy behavior. First known

use, 1882) today because it's Black Friday, shoppers in stores pushing each other

around attempting to get to the best deals. I haven't heard of any yet, 3:19 AM

11/24/2017 ET, but there may be some fist fights and we may have to wait until

the end of today to see if this happens. I'll keep you posted through Twitter.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

Black Friday

"Black Friday is an informal name for the day following Thanksgiving Day in the

United States of America, the fourth Thursday of November, which has been

regarded as the beginning of the country's shopping season.

Significance: Shopping holiday.

Date: Day after U.S. Thanksgiving.

Celebrations: Shopping.

Related to: Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday (Saturday, November 25),

Cyber Monday (Monday, November 27), Christmas and holiday season.

Super Saturday or Panic Saturday is the last Saturday before Christmas, a major

day of revenue for American retailers, marking the end of the shopping season

they and many customers believe begins on Black Friday. Super Saturday targets

last-minute shoppers. Typically the day is ridden with one-day sales in an effort

to accrue more revenue than any other day in the Christmas and holiday season."

Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and Super Saturday or

Panic Saturday. What the hell is going on? Too many shopping days for me to

keep up with and I'm not going out among my brethren to shop. Right at this

very minute, 6:26 AM 11/24/2017 ET, I'm alone and if I needed something

which I don't, I would shop online. That's all I have to say about Black Friday,

but I have still have 10 Tweets with comments and 10 Quotes, Thoughts and/or

Comments to publish. I hope you didn't eat too much yesterday, I know I did.
